Domain Transfer

To transfer an EXISTING domain, enter the name you would like to transfer to CommKal's Domain Name Service into the form at right.

If the domain name has not yet been registered with any registrar, visit our registration page instead.

Domain Transfer Instructions

1. Read the information on moving your domain name before attempting to transfer a domain.



2. Verify that your current registrar has the correct email address for the Administrative Contact on the domain account. You can do this by checking WhoIs information for the domain name.



3. If the email address is correct, move to Step 4. If the email address is incorrect, update the WhoIs information with your current registrar before attempting to transfer the domain. Note that this may delay your ability to transfer the domain name away from the current registrar for up to 60 days.



4. Enter the domain name you wish to transfer into the form, above. Once you submit the name, you will be prompted for the additional information we need to complete the transfer.



5. Once we receive payment authorization, we will submit the request to your registrar who, in turn, will send the Administrative Contact on your account an email message with instructions to authorize the transfer. Simply follow the instructions in that message and your request will be processed.



6. You should receive a confirmation email from your current registrar once the transfer has been completed.
